American singer Jennifer Lopez will hold two concerts in Kazakhstan. Initially, only one concert was announced – scheduled for August 1 in Astana (the capital of Kazakhstan). The second show is set to take place in Almaty on August 10. Almaty – the second most important city in the country. Malik Khasenov, producer at Astana Concert, revealed the ongoing negotiations with the singer’s team during an interview with blogger from Kazakhstan Dinara Satzhan.

On April 11 at 11:00 a.m., the Ticketon.kz website became unavailable. At that time, ticket sales for Jennifer Lopez’s concert in Astana officially began. When users attempted to access the site, they were placed in a queue and informed they could purchase tickets only after a four-hour wait. Representatives of Ticketon.kz told BES.media that the long queues and website issues were due to “extremely high” customer activity.
All 25,000 tickets for the Astana concert were sold out within a few hours via the local platform. Later, organizers had to identify suspicious purchases and refund tickets bought by bots.
